Joseph Steven Lacob (born January 10 1956) is an American business executive, who is a partner of Kleiner Perkins and the majority owner of the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Prior to the 2014-15 NBA season began, Lacob dismissed the coach Mark Jackson who had just taken his team the Warriors through the NBA playoffs for two consecutive seasons. Lacob made the announcement at an assembly of his fellow Venture Capitalists “Part of it was, he couldn’t get along with anybody else in the organization.
